It’s not what you know, it’s who follows you…

…well, sometimes anyway!

LCB’s brand pattern in action. It includes her unique illustrations, brand pattern and logo’s.

Let me tell you the story behind this collab of mine with Liberty’s Cottage Bakery (LCB). I’ve followed Liberty for a few years on the picture app, you know the one. Because there’s nothing I love more than a sugary carb, especially if it’s in cake or brownie form!

About a year ago, she posted on the app asking for help with her brand refresh — she was trying to DIY it. It was raining, the kids were playing, we’d already done the food shop... what else was I going to do, right? I quickly reached out to her and said, “I’m the one for you, I’ve got this!” And she trusted me with her baby.

A few strategic brand questions later, I put together a little pitch showing what her new brand could look like, what I thought was important to keep, and where we could strengthen and refine things for LCB going forward.

Flash forward a year, and she’s finally ready to launch. She’s phased out some of her old materials, taken her time, and now she’s ready to aim for the stars. We’ve created some templates on Canva to allowing her to utilise her design toolkit and make every communication count. With Christmas just around the corner, it’s the perfect moment to ramp up her marketing and watch those mixed boxes fly off the shelves quicker than Santa’s sleigh taking flight. Did I just say the C word?!

A huge shout out to Liberty, stunning bakes, great client and if you’re in the Weymouth, Portland and Dorchester area.. you should give her a follow. She pops up at lots of local markets. Those mixed boxes are something special.

It’s been such fun dipping back into the small business rebrand pool. So if you’re looking for some help and ready to do things at the right time, let’s talk about it! You can fill out my contact form or email me at maryanncrowleydesign@gmail.com
