The Media Centre
One of the best things I did last year? The Our Dorset Media Centre. 👏
Not only was it the last project I worked on with my former co-designer at NHS Dorset, but it also made a huge difference to the amount of administrative time spent in my day-to-day work.
Before its launch, we were spending hours each day manually finding ways to send chunky campaign files to other NHS organisations and partners, all while battling different security requirements, best practices and file size limits.
After a chat with our digital expert and an 'industry day', he made it happen! (Thank you, Tom Gamwell.) We’re now on our second redesign of the homepage. As usage increased and projects grew, we needed to make it easier for people to find what they need.
We’ve been able to use the Media Centre not only to share downloadable campaign ZIP files, but also to distribute templates we hold on Canva.
